What We Store Temporarily
To ensure service quality and prevent abuse, we temporarily store minimal connection metadata. All data is automatically anonymized or deleted by our reaper process.

How It Works Technically
WireGuard Encryption
All traffic is encrypted using WireGuard, a modern protocol with state-of-the-art cryptography. Our VPN nodes only see encrypted packets - they cannot inspect, log, or record your traffic content.
IP Address: Never Stored
Our API code explicitly writes NULL instead of your IP address to every database table. This is enforced in the application code - the database columns exist but are never populated. Even if our servers were seized, there would be no IP addresses to find.
Node Architecture
VPN nodes report only aggregate statistics to our central API: total peer count, CPU load, and per-peer byte counters identified by WireGuard public key - never by user IP. Node selection is based on country codes sent by your app, not your actual IP.
Automated Data Cleanup
A background reaper process runs continuously, automatically anonymizing bandwidth data after 7 days (replacing your user ID with 'anon'), wiping session metadata after 14 days, and deleting connection events and quality metrics after 30 days.
What We Store Permanently
These are required for your account and billing to function:
- •Email address - for login, password recovery, and payment receipts
- •Subscription status - which plan you're on, payment provider, and expiry date
- •Device registration - WireGuard public keys for your registered devices
Third-Party Data Sharing
Stripe - Payment processing only. We send your email to create a customer record. Stripe does not receive any VPN usage data.
Apple / Google - In-app purchase validation only. We verify purchase receipts. No VPN usage data is shared with Apple or Google.
No analytics, no ads, no trackers - We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising or tracking SDKs. Zero third-party tracking.
